Per Section 3.5 of the Hillstad HOA Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, homeowners are required to have external changes to their properties (homes, lots) reviewed and approved by the Hillstad Architectural Control Committee (ACC), to ensure that intended changes are in line with HOA governance parameters.
PROCESS:
(1) Homeowner completes the Hillstad Home Alteration Request Form
(2) Homeowner submits the (a) alteration request form, and (b) all supporting documentation (photographs, design drawings, lists of materials to be used, etc.) to aid in clearly describing the project, via email to both of the following email addresses:

The review process is facilitated by Hillstad HOA's property management company (J&M Property Management). Kirsten Bowie is the current J&M representative to Hillstad. All communications regarding homeowner submitted ACC requests will be coordinated through J&M Property Management.
The current ACC members are the existing HOA Board members.
(3) The ACC reviews the submitted request, and makes a decision. The time for review and a final decision on a submission could take as many as 30 days from the date of submission. However, the ACC will strive to review and respond as quickly as possible to all submissions. During the review process, the ACC may seek more information or request a discussion to ensure full understanding, or highlight potential adjustments that may be needed.
